জুভেন্টাসকে মরশুমের প্রথম ট্রফির স্বাদ এনে দিল রোনাল্ড। রোনাল্ডোর গোলে ইতালিয়ান সুপারকাপে এ.সি মিলন কে 1-0 গোলে হারালো জুভেন্টাস। বছরের শুরুতেই আরও একটি ট্রফির সংখ্যা বাড়িয়ে নিলেন CR7. ম্যাচের 61 তম মিনিটে রোনাল্ডোর করা অসাধারণ হেডে এ.সি.মিলানকে পরাজিত করে শিরোপা জিতলেন জুভেন্টাস। আরোও বড়ো ব্যাবধানে জিততে পারতেন ,জুভেন্টাসের 2 টি গোল অফসাইডের জন্য বাতিল করা হয়েছিল। জুভেন্টাস ম্যাচ জিতলেও এই জয় খুব সহজে আসেনি, মিলান হাড্ডা হাড্ডি লড়াই চালিয়ে যাচ্ছিলো। প্রথম হাফে জুভেন্টাস বল পজিশনে এগিয়ে থাকলেও গোলের দেখা পায়নি।গোটা ম্যাচ জুড়ে ছিল আক্রমন ও প্রতিআক্রমন। সেকেন্ড হাফে 61 মিনিটে রোনাল্ডোর করা একমাত্র গোলে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয় জুভেন্টাস। ম্যাচের সেরা হয়েছেন CR7. তিনি বলেন ট্রফি জিতে বছরটা শুরু করতে চেয়েছিলাম। এই তো সব শুরু হল আমাদের লক্ষ আরো বড় কিছু ,চ্যাম্পিয়ন লীগ জেতা। এই নিয়ে 4 টি ক্লাবের হয়ে ট্রফি জেতার নজির গড়লেন তিনি।প্রথমে স্পোটিং লিসবন, তারপর ম্যানচেস্টার ইউনাইটেড,পরে রিয়াল মাদ্রিদ আর এখন জুভেন্টাসের হয়ে।
