The Amazon is the largest river in the world in terms of volume and the second longest river in the world in terms of length. The length of the Amazon River is 6400 metre. The Amazon River is located on the continent of South America. 

 The origin of the river is the "Nevado Misimi" peak in the Andes Mountains of Peru. After its origin, the Amazon River flows through Peru, Colombia and Brazil to the Atlantic Ocean. The Amazon River Basin is the largest river basin in the world. 

 The Amazon River basin has a volume of 7million 50 thousand square kilometers. Amazon is the local name of the "Amazons". To Europeans, this river is known as the "Maroon". The Amazon River carries 1 lack 75 thousand cubic meters of water per second. One-fifth of the water that all the rivers of the world carry is carried through the Amazon. The Amazon is the world's driest river. The main rivers of the Amazon are "Kurua" and "Madeira". 

 A total of 1100 branch rivers have been combined in the Amazon. The Amazon River is the world's largest repository of biodiversity. The Amazon River is home to thousands of species of plants and animals.

           পৃথিবীর বৃহত্তম উষ্ণ মরুভূমি Written By FIROZ MALLICK   1. সাহারা :- সাহারা পৃথিবীর বৃহত্তম উষ্ণ মরুভূমি ।এটি আফ্রিকা মহাদেশে অবস্থিত।এই মরুভূমির আয়তন 9,064,650 বর্গ কিমি। 2. আরবীয় মরুভূমি : - পৃথিবীর অন্যতম বৃহত্তম উষ্ণ মরুভুমি হল আরবীয় মরুভূমি। এটি মধ্যেপ্রাচ্যে অবস্থিত।এই মরুভূমির আয়তন 2,589,900 মিটার। 3.গ্রেট ভিক্টোরিয়া :- এই উষ্ণ মরুভূমি অস্ট্রেলিয়াতে অবস্থিত। এই মরুভুমিটির আয়তন 647,475 মিটার। 4.কালাহারি :- পৃথিবীর একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ উষ্ণ মরুভূমি হল কালাহারি। এই মরুভুমিটি দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকায় অবস্থিত।এই মরুভুমিটির বিস্তৃতি হল 582,727 মিটার। 5. চিহুয়াহুয়ান :- এই উষ্ণ মরুভুমিটি মেক্সিকো তে অবস্থিত। এর আয়তনব453,232 মিটার ও উচ্চ। 6.থর :- এই উষ্ণ মরুভূমিটি ভারত ও পাকিস্তিন সীমানা বরাবর অবস্থিত। এই মরুভুমিটির বিস্তার 259,000 মিটার।       :পৃথিবীর বৃহত্তম শীতল মরুভূমি সমূহ: 1. গোবি মরুভূমি :- পৃথিবীর বৃহত্তম শীতল মরুভূমি হল গোবি মরুভূমি। এটি চিনে অবস্থিত।এর আয়তন হল 1,294,950 মিটার 2.প‍্যাটাগোনীয় মরুভূমি :- এই শীতল মরুভুমিটি দক্ষিণ আমেরিকার আর্জেন্টিনা রয়েছে।এই
